The Team Lead, Warehouse Operations Support is responsible for assisting in the leadership of dock personnel and supporting supervisors in managing daily dock activities, ensuring the integrity of freight and overall warehouse operations across various locations. This position requires travel to different warehouses and markets to facilitate effective operations. Additionally, the Team Lead will control and maintain all necessary records to ensure accurate and timely completion of shipments. Collaboration in a team environment is essential, as the role involves delegating tasks to dock personnel to achieve work assignments efficiently.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
SUPERVISION
The position functions with supervision and has no direct reports. When requested by management, may assist with interim lead responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include training employees, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints, and assisting supervisors with resolving problems.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 1-3 years of experience. Experience working in Warehousing or Transportation industry preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
A valid driver’s license is required. Forklift certification is preferred.
TRAVEL
Periodic travel up to 75% travel required.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
