    The Analyst, Truckload is responsible for monitoring the data integrity of the TMS by creating and formulating reports that proactively address data and control issues.  This will be measured along with timely invoicing through processes and collection of POD’s. The Analyst, Truckload is also responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing analytical tools to understand Truckload price results and drive price realization within EFW.


    Duties include but are not limited to:


    • Responsible for monitoring, reporting, and analyzing all Truckload freight shipments and looking for opportunities to lower cost and gain transportation efficiency.
    • Expected to use initiative to develop Truckload transportation improvements.
    • Analyze Request for Quote material from internal customers to determine structure for strategy to support business needs.
    • Support sales efforts and general business transactions as required.

      Generate required business reporting on a monthly basis.

      Report writing within Sequel and Microsoft Access.

      Drive accountability in continuous process improvement of daily activities; continuously strive to streamline invoicing and data integrity processes to become more efficient and productive and to decrease the amount of time spent on invoicing.
    • Review and report on accuracy of information in active loads while report results out to station managers and VP.
    • Create IHP’s and SOP’s for new customers and interface with the accounting team to ensure all data is entered into WorldTrak.
    • Submit AP loads timely to ensure that the Accounting Department can invoice according to the customers terms.
    • Prepare reports for customers and EFW management as requested.
    • Follow up with customers, Stations, and any other resources needed to gather additional data and documentation for proper resolution of truckload movements.
    • Accountable for the proper management of assigned Stations/customers to meet and exceed days-to-invoice time frames, communication needs, terms and conditions, and any other reasonable tasks requested or assigned.
    • As required, assist other investigator(s) with their questions and claims workload.
    • Keep customer data base/bids, WorldTrak and CRM updated with the most current information.
    • Support and promote company core values.
    • Regular attendance is required.
    • Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.




    Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 1-3 years of business experience.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. 

    Experience working in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry desired.

    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job specific software applications, in particular Excel and Word with basic skills in PowerPoint, Sequel and Access.

    Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills.

    Strong interpersonal, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.

    Effective organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple tasks.

    Ability to work cross functionally with individuals and teams from different areas.


    Ability to make independent decisions and work with little supervision.


    Ability to read and interpret general business documents.


    Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.


    Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.


    Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.


    Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.
