The Local Account Manager (LAM) reports directly to the National Manager, Sales. The Local Account Manager (LAM) is accountable for developing and securing incremental revenue and market share through promotion and sales of all services and products to establish and target accounts. The Local Account Manager (LAM) is responsible for generating profitable revenue growth through marketing all products and services within a defined geographic territory within a major Market by focusing 20% of time and effort on retaining and growing revenue with existing customers and 80% of time focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Model and act in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
  • Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services, and operations offered by the company and actively participate in product training sessions.
  • Interact regularly with station and operations managers, and develop close and cooperative working relationships with operational staff to ensure the customer’s needs are met.
  • Schedule and conduct a pre-determined number of face-to-face sales calls as directed by the sales or station management and in accordance with the EFW sales plan.
  • Input sales call information into the EFW CRM provided by the company and provide sales reports as directed by sales or station management.
  • Maintain a pre-determined number of target accounts and demonstrate active attention to those accounts and progress towards closing.
  • Meet sales thresholds/quotas as defined by the company.
  • Work cooperatively with other sales and operational staff to support a team-selling environment.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with the terms of the Sales Performance Policy, Commission Model and Acknowledgement Form.
  • Regular attendance is required
  • Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5 years of Sales experience and 4 years industry experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.


Periodic travel up to 25% may be required.

Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.


Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job specific software applications.


Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, customers, and vendors.


Demonstrated positive, competitive, confident personality with strongly developed persuasive skills and a customer-focused orientation.


Effective negotiation skills.


Must be able to interact well with others with the ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve results or work independently with little or no supervision in a fast paced environment.


Must be adaptable to changing needs of client(s) and goals of the company.


Effective planning and organizational skills to schedule appointments appropriately and to meet reporting deadlines.


Effective follow-up skills.


In-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services.


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.


Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals helpful.


Must have strong problem solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues.


Ability to compose, edit, and proof-read routine business letters, correspondence, and reports.


Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition; handling stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization.


Responds well to questions. Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations/procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines.


Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents.


Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence.


Ability to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts.


Ability to present to a group of departments.


Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.


Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.


Must be eligible to work in the United States.
