Responsibilities

The Coordinator, Training, reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Training Services. The Coordinator, Training, coordinates and delivers training in software applications and operational procedures to EFW team members as needed.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Focus on ensuring all documented processes are followed consistently throughout the Company.
  • Recommend process changes and assist with the implementation of any training change relating to the Operations, Sales, and Administrative teams.

  • Coordinate and conduct training for all computer based programs including WorldTrak, Estes Express Lines AS400 programs, vendor websites, airline schedule websites and various other computer based applications used by EFW staff.
  • Coordinate and conduct training relating to accessing all rating tools, both account specific and general tariffs.
  • Coordinate and deliver both initial and recurring training for Sales and Operations staff on documented processes contained in the EFW Resource Center.
  • Initiate the onboarding training relating to TSA and Dangerous Goods Awareness.
  • Maintain training documentation including attendance records, evaluations, and certifications.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training by analyzing course evaluations and implementing suggestions for improvement as appropriate.
  • Maintain good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 1-3 years of experience.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. 

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.

 

Skilled in presenting/facilitating a wide variety of training to diverse audiences and able to motivate, communicate, and instruct/train others, using both technical and non-technical language to explain complex subjects and processes.

 

A team player with a high level of energy and self-motivation.

 

Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials

 

Excellent spelling, grammar and written/ oral communication skills.

 

Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and set priorities.

 

Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents.

 

Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence.

 

Ability to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts.

 

Ability to present to a group of departments.

 

Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.

 

Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.

 

Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities.

 

Must be eligible to work in the United States.
